The Lord's Taverners, the national youth charity that gives young people with special needs a sporting chance,
made a pledge to support CPSport and now Boccia England to aid the development of the sport of Boccia.
The pledge was made as part of The Lord's Taverners Disability Sports Appeal to encourage and facilitate
youngsters to play Boccia, a sport which can be played by people with all levels of disabilities.

For the new 2011-2012 season over 30 counties are preparing to hold a Lord's Taverners
Under 19's County Boccia Competition.
School teams of 3 - 5 members can take part providing that they meet the criteria requirements.
The winning county teams will then be invited to take part in one of the 12 Lord's Taverners regional
competitions that will take place after Christmas across the United kingdom.
Each county involved with The Lord's Taverners Programme will also host a Boccia Young Officials Course
so that young leaders can officiate at the county and regional competitions.
The 12 winning regional teams will have an opportunity to take part in The Lord's Taverners Under 19's National Championships
in March 2012.
