Ellie Simpson is 21 years old and was the only female RaceRunner to represent England at the Nottingham 2015 CPISRA World Games.
Ellie’s passion for sport wasn’t always there but after attending a Cerebral Palsy Sport athletics series as a club thrower and being introduced to RaceRunning. She has just graduated from her a degree in Sport Development and Coaching and uses every opportunity to raise the profile of RaceRunning.
On becoming a Cerebral Palsy Sport Ambassador Ellie said:
“I am so honoured that CP Sport have chosen me to be a Young Ambassador, and alongside my best friend Matthew, who I also met through CP Sport. CP Sport has changed my life and they got me into RaceRunning – a sport that I love and couldn’t imagine my life without. I am so excited about being a Young Ambassador for CP Sport and I can’t wait to show other young people with Cerebral Palsy & physical disabilities all about CP Sport & how they can get involved in all of the sports, events and opportunities!”
