HANDI LIFE SPORT LEATHER BOCCIA BALLS

We are the sole UK distributor for Handi Life Sport.

Currently, we only supply Superior Indoor Boccia Sets, but from April we will also be offering a new 'Standard' Indoor Boccia Set.

We can accept orders for the new Standard sets now, but please be aware that there may be a delay in the time it takes you to receive your order.

Both types of balls meet international competition standards.

Superior Indoor Boccia set:

These are the top quality boccia sets; they are robust and durable. The sets include 13 balls (6 red balls, 6 blue balls and a white target ball), hands-sewn from top quality synthetic leather, filled with a plastic granulate and supplied in a handy carrying case. Superior Indoor Boccia Sets can be supplied in different degrees of hardness:

• Hard: Players with little arm strength, or who play with an assistive device (ramp) often prefer to play with hard boccia balls which roll more easily
• Medium: Most players prefer medium balls, which is the grade supplied if you do not request a specific hardness.
• Soft: Some players are more comfortable with soft boccia balls which can be easier to place and throw.

Weight: 275 gr. ⁺/_- 12 gr. Circumference: 270 mm ⁺/_- 8 mm.

Price per set: £160 + VAT + £17.00 postage and packing.

Total price: £205*

Standard Indoor Boccia set:

13 balls (6 red balls, 6 blue balls and a white target ball) hand-sewn from synthetic leather, filled with a plastic granulate and supplied in a nylon bag.

They are available in medium hardness only.

Weight: 275 gr. ⁺/_- 12 gr. Circumference: 270 mm ⁺/_- 8 mm.

Price per set: £105 + VAT + £16.62 postage and packing.

Total price: £140

The standard sets are not as robust and durable as the top quality superior sets and only come in medium hardness. However, they offer a more affordable alternative for players/schools that are new to the game.

*Please note:

Due to increasing costs we have been forced to increase the price of our sets of Superior boccia balls.

The previous price of £188 has not changed in more than ten years; in that time we have absorbed increases in postage and packing, wholesale costs of the balls and any fluctuations in the currency markets (the Handilife balls we supply are made in Denmark and charged to us in Euros).

As the profits from boccia ball sales go directly to supporting the growth of boccia, we feel the sport would be disadvantaged if we do not increase our prices.

We have set the new price at £205 - an increase of less than 10%. We hope you appreciate the necessity of this increase.

Boccia is a growing sport and CP Sport will continue to work to ensure that growth continues. Thank you for your support.

A Short Introduction to Boccia DVD:

We have produced a short DVD about Boccia. The DVD includes:

• How to play Boccia
• Rules of the game
• Basic Guidelines for officials
• An introduction to classification

The cost of the DVD is £8.50 including postage and packing and is available to pre order from mid-June.
