Entries are now open for the 2019 Vitality London 10,000, which will take place on bank holiday Monday 27 May 2019 and Cerebral Palsy Sport has a number of charity places for this unique event.
The Vitality London 10,000 is one of the UK’s most popular 10k runs. The city centre race takes a similar route to the Olympic Marathon and is a great race in which to see London’s most iconic landmarks.
Brought to you by the team behind the world famous Virgin Money London Marathon, the Vitality London 10,000 is a fantastically well-organised and friendly event. You’ll start and finish in St James’s Park and run past famous London landmarks including the Houses of Parliament, Nelson’s Column and St Paul’s Cathedral.
The Race: Beginning on The Mall the London Vitality 10,000 follows a clockwise route around the City of Westminster and the City of London. Taking place in the heart of London you will pass famous sights which include: Nelson’s Column, St Paul’s Cathedral, Mansion House, Bank of England, The Monument, Millennium Bridge, London Eye, Big Ben, Houses of Parliament and Westminster Abbey. The race returns to The Mall where the finish line is in front of Buckingham Palace.
Participation: Runners of all types take part in the Vitality 10,000. From first timers to seasoned runners, everyone enjoys being part of the event and to soak up the terrific atmosphere of the day. Run with others or run solo, this event is perfect for everyone at every level.
