How did you help raise funds for C P Sport?
I organised a quiz night to help raise funds.
What does C P Sport mean to you and your family?
CP Sport has been very important in the life of my daughter, Keeley. Keeley has cerebral palsy
and when she was younger she very much wanted to swim competitively like her younger sister. We found a
disabled swimming club and they took Keeley to be classified at CP Nationals when she was 13. From then on,
Keeley has gone from strength to strength culminating in her being selected as one of the team for the
CP World Games in Connecticut in July 2005. CP Sport has been very important to Keeley, so much so, that
she is currently learning how to become a classifier, as this will go hand in hand with her degree in physiotherapy
which she is studying for at Manchester Metropolitan University. CP Sport has become almost an extended family for
Keeley and we thoroughly enjoy attending the functions and occasions, including travelling to the USA to see
them at the World Games.
