Engagement Officers x 3 – North, South and Midlands Areas
The English Federation of Disability Sport (EFDS) is dedicated to getting more disabled people participating in sport. We work with a number of key partners looking at innovative ways to improve and increase the opportunities available to disabled people to enjoy sport and physical activity.
Working closely with National Governing Bodies (NGBs) and County Sports Partnerships (CSPs), we want to deliver a joined up approach so we can support NGBs deliver their Whole Sport Plan (WSP) proposals to increase disabled people’s participation at a local level.
You will be a professional with the skills and experience to manage a wide range of stakeholders at varying levels. You will have built partnerships in the past to deliver community sport success, be an excellent advocate for our work with the proven ability to influence and persuade a wide variety of partners including National Governing Bodies of sport, County Sports Partnerships and Disabled People Organisations and services.
Salary £27,000 - £31,500
Whilst the successful candidates will have the option of working within EFDS’s Loughborough or Manchester offices, they will be expected to work across several regions within the South, Midlands or North of England. Home based working will be an option for all three successful candidates.
This post is open to those considering either a secondment or permanent position within EFDS.
