Games Starters Volunteering Programme
The Nottingham 2015 CPISRA World Games saw its return to the historic city of Nottingham from 6 – 16 August 2015. The Games Starters Volunteering Programme gave people from across the country the opportunity to get involved in this international event.
These Games will be a wonderful event inspired young people with cerebral palsy to get involved in sport. It will be you, our potential Games Starters, who will help make these Games a wonderful experience for everyone involved, from the athletes through to the spectators.
We have now closed our open volunteering application programme and to mark 200 days to go to the Games, volunteers were notified if they have a volunteer Games role.
Volunteers selected for the Games will receive regular updates through specific newsletters.
We are also delighted that we have also selected our Team Leaders for the Games and the first training took place for Team Leaders on March 21st and March 22nd 2015.
Induction Training for all Volunteers also took place on May 9th 2015 between 10am and 3pm. Further information will be emailed when we have finalised the venue..
If you are under 18 you can still be involved as part of a Group or Organisation, such as your school, brownies, cubs, or other groups of children. Please contact us directly on firstname.lastname@example.org to talk through the opportunity.
If you wish to bring a group of volunteers or are a corporate organisation wishing to join the volunteer programme, please contact us directly at email@example.com
