A group of 8 of our dedicated supporters led by Marcus Pemberton are taking on a series of “Tricky Quests” throughout 2017 to raise funds for Cerebral Palsy Sport.
The group have already taken on a Wolf Run and they are in training for a whole series of quests this year.
On Saturday, the group took on a 3km open water swim and returned times between 57 mins and 1 hr 37 mins and everyone completed the swim. Well done to all of you!
Marcus said of their fundraising efforts: “We’re a group of friends who struggle to find enough time to see each other, and also to stay fit! So we decided to complete a number of ‘Tricky Quests’ every year for a good cause, meaning that we make sure that we stay in touch, we have something to train for together, and we raise some money for a great charity. We chose CP Sport as some of us have family members with Cerebral Palsy, and all of us have had our lives enriched by sport, and we’re therefore really proud to know that the money we raise will help children have what we had growing up.”
The group are now building up to a marathon in September and as the lads are looking to raise money for us as a cause that are close to their hearts, please visit their fundraising page and support their amazing effort!
Thank you for supporting Cerebral Palsy Sport!
