There was more success for CP United as they kicked off the football season with the title win in the National CP Adult Footall league National Championships on 30th September 2017. Held at Riverside in Nottingham, 7 teams from the league took part:

South West CP FC
Albion in the Community
Chelsea Foundation – Blues
Chelsea Foundation – Whites
After the group stages in the morning, where teams played matches of 20 minutes, there was a 3rd and 4th place play off between Chelsea Blues and Copmanthorpe, the latter victorious.
In the final, CP United displayed their skills and experience, beating South West CP 3-1.
The Cerebral Palsy Sport National CP Football League consists of a North Conference and a South Conference, taking part in regional central venue fixtures throughout the year. They will then come together for the end of year National Cup. The 2016/2017 finals took place at the David Ross Sports Village in Nottingham, in May 2017, where CP United were crowned with the title.
