New Cerebral Palsy and Swimming online CDP launches on IDPWD

Today, on International Day of Persons with Disabilities, Cerebral Palsy Sport is delighted to announce a new online CPD course aimed at swimming professionals who want to further their knowledge on cerebral palsy and swimming.

The course is titled ‘An Introduction to Cerebral Palsy and Swimming’ and has been developed in partnership with the Swimming Teachers’ Association. 1 CPD point will be rewarded to put towards professional development on completion of the course. The cost of the course is £25.

The main content of the online CPD is:

  • The causes, symptoms and types of cerebral palsy
  • Facts and Figures of people with cerebral palsy
  • Cerebral Palsy Awareness in sport
  • Movement in Water

CP Sport were pleased to announce a partnership with The Swimming Teachers’ Association in July 2019 and since then have been working together to create this exciting new online course.

The STA is an international award-winning charity working towards the objective of preserving human life by the teaching of swimming, lifesaving and survival techniques.
