Sport England campaign tackles inactivity for those with long term health conditions

Sport England, alongside 15 leading health and social care charities have today launched a new physical activity and health conditions campaign.

People are twice as likely to be inactive if they are living with a long-term health condition (LTC). The campaign seeks to challenge this by empowering and inspiring those living with LTC to be more active.

Being active can contribute to the management of over 20 chronic conditions.

The campaign #WeAreUndefeatable aims to change the misconception that those living with LTC can’t be active.

Their research shows the majority of people with a long-term health condition want to be active and are aware of the health benefits.
