The Cerebral Palsy 2017 Athletics Series culminated on Saturday 23rd September with the National Athletic Championships taking place at Harvey Hadden Sports Complex in Nottingham.
This year’s finals saw 69 athletes compete in over 40 events throughout the course of the day, with medal presentations taking place during lunch and following the afternoon session. It was great to see many returning athletes from previous Series events as well as welcoming some new athletes to the event.
The event was sponsored by Nottingham Trent University and we are grateful for their support and to James Hayter and his colleagues who attended the Championships to present medals to athletes.
Our sincere thanks and appreciation as always goes to our dedicated track & field officials, whose support and commitment ensures the IPC accredited event can take place and of course the volunteers whose support was invaluable to the event.
