CP Sport deliver Table Cricket at Junior Games

WheelPower’s National Junior Games is an annual event held at Stoke Mandeville Stadium.

The Games are open to children and young people (aged between 11 and 18) with a physical or mild sensory impairment and combine have-a-go sessions with coaching and competitions in a range of different sports and activities.

Paralympic stars Ade Adepitan, David Weir and Baroness Tanni Grey-Thompson took part in the National Junior Games on their road to success,  and thousands of children had achieved their dreams and led a healthy active life after taking part in this extraordinary event.

Cerebral Palsy Sport delivered Table Cricket activity at this year’s Junior Games on 2nd and 3rd October. The activity was led by Cerebral Palsy Sport National Sport Development Officer Richard Kerr,  and inventor of Table Cricket Doug Williamson. Over 30 young people played Table Cricket at the event with a number of schools expressing interest to continue.
