Saints Foundation has announced it has been awarded a license by the Football Association to become a Regional Talent Hub for the 2017/18 season, becoming one of only 13 across the country.
The Foundation, the official charity of Southampton FC, is giving young footballers who have cerebral palsy, hearing impairments or are partially sighted the opportunity to progress from grassroots club and league football to a talent development centre, and on to the elite England set-up.
Harnessing the success of the Saints Academy, the Regional Talent Hub will aim to recreate the successful career paths of players such as James Ward-Prowse, by providing equal opportunities to its participants.
The Hub will be split into two age groups, with players from 7-11 years old and 12-16 able to participate.
Saints Foundation will be holding an open trial for the Regional Talent Hub in September 2017.
To register your interest in the open trial, please complete the form below (must be completed by a parent or guardian): https://southamptonfc.com/news/2017-08-16/video-saints-foundation-regional-talent-hub
