Superhero Tri Series launches!

SuperHero Series

Today marks the official launch of a brand new and exciting event. The  Superhero Series is the UK’s one and only disability sports series for the everyday Superhero and their family & friends.

Cerebral Palsy Sport is an official charity partner and so you can take part, have fun and raise funds for us at the same time.

This exciting event will take place on the 19th August 2017 at Dorney Lake, Windsor ( the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games rowing Venue).

The Celebrity Superhero Tri will have 30 well known Paralympians and celebrities as Team Captains.

This is an outline of how it will work:

Team up: Unite with disabled and non friends and family to share the the work (and the fun!)

Grab a Sidekick:  This world first is a unique chance to tow a friend or loved one in the water and push/pull them one in the water and push/pull them around the bike and push/run stages.

Fly solo: For those participants who want to do all 3 stages

There are Three epic distances:

CP Sport saddles up with British Cycling

Cerebral Palsy Sport and British Cycling are working in partnership to provide more people with cerebral palsy the opportunity to take part in cycling.

In developing the partnership some key outcomes have been identified including the delivery of cycling at CP Sport SportStart events, CP awareness training to cycling coaches and volunteers, identifying what the needs and wants are from people with CP to take part in cycling, and supporting those that are talented onto the talent pathway.

2 British Cycling coaches will be delivering cycling for the first time at Cerebral Palsy Sport’s SportStart event in Manchester on the 30th June.
