Cerebral Palsy Sport is proud to be working in partnership with Limbpower, British Triathlon and McA Fitness and Event to run a series of ‘Go Tri’ events throughout 2019. The triathlons are specifically for anyone who has cerebral palsy or a limb impairment.
The first will be held on 17th March 2019 at Total Fitness Wilmslow.
There are two levels – A Challenger event (Swim 200m, Cycle 10km, Run 2.5km) and a Starter event (Swimming 200m, Cycling 6.5km and running 1.5km)
Limb Power was launched in November 2009 to engage amputees and individuals with limb impairments in physical activity, sport and the arts to improve quality of life and to aid lifelong rehabilitation.
Cerebral Palsy Sport is the country’s leading national disability sports charity supporting people with cerebral palsy to reach their sporting potential and putting people with cerebral palsy and their families at the heart of everything we do.
McA Fitness & Events are really proud to be working alongside Limb Power and CP Sport to showcase this opportunity for everyone to race together. If you are a first timer, para athlete, improving novice or seasoned vet, this race will give you the opportunity to pit yourself against yourself.

Cerebral Palsy Sport and British Cycling are working in partnership to provide more people with cerebral palsy the opportunity to take part in cycling.
In developing the partnership some key outcomes have been identified including the delivery of cycling at CP Sport SportStart events, CP awareness training to cycling coaches and volunteers, identifying what the needs and wants are from people with CP to take part in cycling, and supporting those that are talented onto the talent pathway.
2 British Cycling coaches will be delivering cycling for the first time at Cerebral Palsy Sport’s SportStart event in Manchester on the 30th June.
