Cerebral Palsy Sport and Whizz Kidz team up for table cricket!
Cerebral Palsy Sport are delighted to announce that we will be working in partnership with Whizz Kidz, a national organisation that provides equipment, support and life skills to disabled young people. Cerebral Palsy Sport will be providing CricketStart taster sessions to all the Midlands Ambassador Clubs throughout May and June 2016.
CricketStart sessions provide young people and adults with their first insight into cricket and especially Table Cricket. The session is filled with skills, fun and lots of games but also gives the coaches, staff or volunteers a good introduction into the game which will ensure cricket is continued to be delivered at the clubs.
Cerebral Palsy Sport are looking forward to be working with Whizz Kidz to provide more opportunities for people with a disability to get involved in sport and physical activity.
Our National Cricket Development Officer will be travelling to the following clubs!
7th May- Shrewsbury, The Priory School.
14th May- Leicester Ambassador Club
21st May- Stoke, Blackfriars School.
11th June- Dudley, Pen Meadow School
15th October- Birmingham, QAC.
