Student Volunteering Week 2019 takes place from 11th – 17th February.
It is the 18th year that Student Volunteering Week is taking place. Student volunteers are a key part of the volunteering network, and an opportunity for students to develop their skills and become involved in the local communities.
Cerebral Palsy Sport’s student volunteers include Young Sporting Ambassadors as well as work experience placements at head office and event volunteers.
The Student Volunteering Network highlight the following benefits of Student Volunteering:

- Develops students’ employability
- Contributes positively to the wider and local community life
During Student Volunteering Week Cerebral Palsy Sport will be sharing some of the stories from students who have volunteered with us.
Volunteering at Cerebral Palsy Sport can cover many different activities from being a sporting official to a trustee on the board, from educating to fundraising and we want volunteering for Cerebral Palsy Sport to be a rewarding and worthwhile experience and we are committed to supporting you throughout your time with us.
As a volunteer, you contribute your time and energy to support the to charity achieve our vision, that everyone with a physical disability should be able to access sports of their choice. We are all working towards this vision and it is at the heart of everything we do.
