Sport England: Mapping Disability – a new report is released to show nationwide picture

Sport England has released a new report, Mapping Disability: The Facts. It offers an in-depth look at the vast range of impairments people have in England. It also includes comprehensive data on disabled people by categories such as region, gender and age. The findings can help many providers to learn more about disabled people and the many layers of information involved in getting more disabled people active.

We know that disabled people are much less likely to take part in sport or activity than many other groups. That’s why Sport England is increasing their efforts to fully understand, and provide for people with all impairments.

This resource is a great starting point to understand the complex picture of disabled people as a population in England.
