Athletics Series 2020

For the 2020 Athletics season we will be working in partnership with established events and delivering two of our own events. All events listed below are part of the 2020 Parallel Success Series.

4 April Surrey & Hants Disability County Championships / KACPH Open Throws Meeting / Open Disability Meeting, Kingston upon Thames

7 June Newham Open & Parallel Success 1 – TBC

13 & 14 June BWAA Grand Prix, Stoke Mandeville

4 & 5 July Activity Alliance National Junior Championships, Coventry

11 July Newham Open & Parallel Success 2 – TBC

15 August CP Sport Athletics Series Event, Doncaster

13 September CP Sport National Athletics Championships, Stoke Mandeville

CP Sport will be delivering a series event on Saturday 15 August in Doncaster and the Cerebral Palsy Sport National Championships on Sunday 13 September at Stoke Mandeville.  

All events will abide by IPC rules and are UKA licensed.

Photo Finish and EDM will be at all events and results submitted to the Power of 10.

CP Sport Athletics Series Awards

All the events listed above are part of the CP Sport Athletics Series.

Trophies will be awarded at the Cerebral Palsy Sport National Championships at Stoke Mandeville on 13 September 2020.

Results from all series events will be collated and the WPA Raza Points System will be used to decide the winner of each category.

Trophies are awarded in the following age categories;

Under 12, Under 14, Under 16, Under 18, Under 20 and Senior

In each age category a trophy is awarded for each of the following;

Female Track, Male Track, Female Field and Male Field

There are additional awards for;

Overall Guest Track Athlete

Overall Guest Field Athlete

Colin Rains Award for Best Overall Athlete
