Lee – My Fundraising Story
Lee is taking on the challenge of the 2018 Virgin London Marathon as part of Team CP Sport.
This will be his first marathon and he has shared his story and the reasons why he wanted to support Cerebral Palsy Sport. Here is his story:
“I’m running for CP Sport as my nephew lives with the condition and I’ve seen first hand how CP has effected him.
My training is going really well (despite a small injury to my right knee after a 16 mile run) but I’m hoping that it will heal up in the next couple of days) I can run 16 miles in two hours and still have plenty left to give.
I hope to compete the marathon in under three hours fifteen minutes.”
Lee feels that his biggest challenge has been “managing his working life where I’m out the house for 12 hours and raising the money for CP Sport”.
