During August 2015, Richard devoted his time, efforts and enthusiasm to support the Nottingham 2015 Cerebral Palsy World Games as a Games Starter volunteer. With vast expertise as an FA Referee Mentor, Richard’s role as Officials Coordinator for the inaugural IFCPF 2015 CP Football World Championships U19 contributed to its smooth and successful delivery.
Following on from the CPISRA World Games, Richard continued to support Cerebral Palsy Sport as a volunteer in December 2015 for our Disability Sport Conference. Providing a warm welcome for all who attended and always the first to assist anyone in need of further information or just a friendly face.
In January 2016, Richard agreed to volunteer his time as the Officials Coordinator for the Cerebral Palsy Sport National CP Football League. In this role he manages the appointments of all match officials for both the regional conferences and National competitions, along with additional events such as the FA Disability Cup and International CP Tri-Nations tournament both hosted at the FA’s National Football Centre at St Georges Park.
Thank you Richard for all your time!
