Job Title: Part Time National Athletics Development Officer
Part Time: 17 hours per week
Salary Range: £13,500 - £14,500 per annum
Location: Flexible Office Base
National Office: Nottingham
Terms: 2 year Fixed Term Contract
(has the potential of being extended for further years, subject to funding)
The aim of CP Sport is to offer opportunities for people with cerebral palsy and
associated impairments to become involved in sport and physical recreation. The main purpose of the job is
to promote and develop opportunities for coaching and participation in athletics.
We are looking for an experienced, energetic and highly motivated individual to develop athletes,
coaches and officials to support and sustain the sport of athletics.
You will be experienced in working in the sports development field and a level 2 coaching
qualification is required. You will have a good knowledge of athletics and its structures in the UK and you
will be an excellent communicator with a background of working with a wide range of partners.
The role involves a mix of office based time and significant time in the field at coaching
and development days, competitions, and meetings and you will have the ability to work flexibly to meet the
needs of the service.
A car driver/owner is essential.
The post is subject to an enhanced criminal records bureau check.
