Jasper – My Story

Hi, my name is Jasper and I’m 11 years old. I’m climbing Mount Snowdon in May 2019 with my family to raise money for CP Sport. I was born with cerebral palsy and I have mild right hemiplegia, which effects my leg mostly. I have Physiotherapy and occupational therapy which has helped me manage my movement. I also do stretching exercises with my Dad each evening. I had a stretching cast on last year which was quite uncomfortable!!

I have tried not to let CP hold me back and love my sport. I am team captain and goalie for Coxheath football team and we are very high in the league this season. I also recently played in a netball tournament for my school! I also love skiing and I am better than my Mum!

It is my dream to play in the Paralympic Football team.

Long walks are however not my thing. I do get very tired so Climbing Mount Snowdon will be a big challenge for me!!

I hope to raise lots of money for CP Sport and be an inspiration to other children who may have CP.
