For children and adults with cerebral palsy or a physical disability.
All abilities of swimmers are welcome, floatation aids or a helper in the water are allowed.
The aim is to provide swimmers the opportunity to socialise with other swimmers with cerebral palsy, experience the excitement of competitive swimming and test their new skills without the formal structure of club events. Races take place over 10, 25, and 50 metres using a variety of strokes.
All swimmers will take place in a heat and a handicapped final for each of their events. Medals are awarded to the first three swimmers in each final and all swimmer receive a certificate of participation.
This event will take place in the diving pool of the Manchester Aquatics Centre where we will have the pool floor set at approximately 1m depth.
Full – Members £7.50
Booking required. Closing date – Wednesday 23rd November 2016 (no late entries will be accepted).
