Children’s Mental Health Week was first launched in 2015 by Place2Be to shine a spotlight on the importance of children and young people’s mental health. Now in its fifth year, it is hoped to encourage more people than ever to get involved and spread the word.
Children’s Mental Health Week 2019 is taking place 4th -10th February and Cerebral Palsy Sport support the important message of taking steps to be Healthy: Inside and Out.
Our bodies and minds are actually very closely linked, so things that we do to improve our physical wellbeing can help our mental wellbeing as well. When we take steps to be Healthy: Inside and Out, it helps us to feel better in ourselves, focus on what we want to do and deal with difficult times.
In our #MyStory we series we focus on the impact of sport and how this supports overallwell being, not just physically, but mentally and socially. Please read through some of our recent case studies here
