All at CP Sport England and Wales were very sad to hear about the passing of Dr Aart Kruimer.
IPC and CPISRA International Classifier Aart Kruimer from the Netherlands passed away late in December and his funeral was held on January 2nd. During the 80s and 90s in particular Dr Kruimer was involved with the classification of high performance athletes and players with cerebral palsy and he played a significant role in the Robin Hood Games where so many future Paralympians experienced international competition for the first time. More recently Dr Kruimer has played a lead role in the development of IPC table tennis classification.
We would like to pass on our deepest condolences to Dr Kruimer's family, friends and colleagues at this very sad time.
