On Wednesday 26th February, Cerebral Palsy Sport invited guests from across the disability and sport sectors to the charity’s head office in Nottingham for a celebration of Cerebral Palsy Awareness Month which takes place in March.
Throughout March, Cerebral Palsy Sport will be sharing information about cp and sport, and encouraging more people with cp to discover the many benefits of being active, from physical improvements to mental wellbeing.
At the event on Wednesday, Young Sporting Ambassador Thomas Stamp spoke to guests about his first hand experience of discovering sport and the opportunities it has given him.
Cerebral Palsy Sport will be running a series of sport events throughout March as well as attending conferences to raise awareness about the work and impact of the charity.
