Chair of Boost Charitable Trust takes on a CP Sport Frame Running race

We were delighted to be able to host Boost Charitable Trust for a Frame Running activity afternoon at Harvey Hadden Sports Village, Nottingham on Thursday 8th July.

Throughout July the Chair of Boost Charitable Trust Robert Houston has been taking on a series of challenges – hosted by charities who are supported by Boost’s projects.

We challenged Robert to have a go at Frame Running and take on two CP Sport members in a race. After 30 minutes of tuition and warm-up, the series of races began against A-level student, Orla Conneely, who is shortly off to university to read Architecture, and Rafi Solaiman who is the current GB and European 100m champion.

A great effort from Robert, although our seasoned Frame Runners were able to get over the finish line first!

Robert is also walking Hadrian’s Wall and his ‘Grand Finale’ will be running the London Landmarks Half-Marathon on Sunday, 1 August in what he describes as ‘a rather uncomfortable costume of St Bride’s Church!’ Find out more about Roberts activity here: https://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/RobertHouston7

Boost charitable Trust champion disables people and inspire them to overcome their challenges through the power of sport.

Thank you to Boost Charitable Trust for supporting CP Sport.
