Congratulations to Helen Williams who was one of five people to be awarded the 2019 Spirit of London Marathon Award.
Helen has cerebral palsy in all four limbs and a learning disability.
Helen represented Team England at World Games, has taken part in many Cerebral Palsy Sport Athletics events on the track and has been a fundraiser for the charity.

In her first London Marathon in 2017, Helen finished in 6 hours and 49 minutes. This year she returned and improved her PB by 27 minutes with a time of 6 hours and 22 minutes.
The Award celebrates those extraordinary people who have demonstrated the unique spirit of the world’s greatest marathon.
