Supporting Cerebral Palsy Football in Oxford

Cerebral Palsy Sport has supported Summertown Stars CP Football sessions. The National CP Football Development Officer delivered a workshop to club coaches and volunteers ahead of their session on Saturday 7th December.

The club have been really proactive in recruiting new participants, and there was a good mix of frame and non-frame players. The club are well supported and are very welcoming to new players.

A range of skills activities and games were delivered which the players really enjoyed and the session was all about everyone having fun. Feedback from the player was that they really enjoyed taking part

“Fun, enjoyable, I loved it”.
“That was fun”.

It was also positive feedback from the parents:

“My daughter loved the session and cant wait to come again”.
“Really well organised, great support and great fun”.
“Our son always looks forward to sessions and enjoys playing with friends”.
