Bowls Development Alliance Love Fisher Brown Award Entry Coming to a Close

Bowls Development Alliance, the funder of Cerebral Palsy Sport’s bowls development programme, has launched a national award to recognise the excellent work being undertaken by clubs with disabled bowlers.

In October 2014, the Bowls Development Alliance announced the launch of the Love Fisher Brown Award. This award, named after the remarkable and inspiring Commonwealth Games achievements of Bob Love, David Fisher and Paul Brown (CPISRA World Games 2015, Team England Bowls Manager) , is an opportunity to recognise and promote the great work of many clubs and organisations who already provide participation opportunities for disabled bowlers.

Entries for the award close on Friday 29th May, 2015 with the winner of the Love Fisher Brown Award and two runner ups announced on, or before, Friday 26th June, 2015.

The winner of the Love Fisher Brown Award, sponsored by AeroBowls will receive:

  • Club visit from three time Commonwealth Games Gold Medalist and AeroBowls UK CEO, Ellen Falkner plus another AeroBowls sponsored player
  • Complimentary set of Aero Bowls
  • £550 of BDA funding*
  • Framed Certificate

Two runner up entries will receive:

  • £550 of BDA funding*
  • Framed Certificate
