The 48-strong British Athletics team for the IPC Athletics World Championships was announced last week. Our congratulations go out to all of the athletes selected for the team who will be competing in Doha between 22nd and 31st October 2015.
We were very excited to see that two athletes who competed this August in the Nottingham 2015 CPISRA World Games have been selected, Kadeena Cox for the T37 100m, 200m and 4x100m and Abbie Hunnisett in the F32 club throw. We are looking forward to watching and supporting them as their sporting careers progress.
Two of Cerebral Palsy Sport’s Sporting Ambassadors also feature in the team – Sam Ruddock in the F35 shot put and Graeme Ballard in the T36 100m and 200m.
We wish all the athletes the best of luck for Doha – we’ll be cheering you all on from Nottingham!
