This year’s National Table Cricket Finals took place on the 6th December at the impressive venue of Trent Bridge, Nottingham. In its third year, the annual finals were bigger and better than ever with 6 teams travelling from all corners of the country to battle it out for the title of national champions.
Spectators, players, coaches and volunteers alike enjoyed an action packed day, filled with fantastic sporting performances from all teams who took part. The event ran seamlessly thanks to the hard work of 20 local volunteers, along with a selection of Young Leaders from Central College, Nottingham who was particularly helpful taking on umpiring roles.
The event ended with a spectacular final between Portland College and Wilson Stuart Daredevils. Portland College took the win and were crowned National Champions. We were also lucky enough to have Josh Mead, England Physical disability international T20 Winner in attendance to present the medals and join in with team photos.
Thanks to everyone who was involved in the day and we look forward to next year!
