Important Announcement: Nottingham 2015 World Games Swimming Classification

Nottingham 2015 have announced today that for the CPISRA World Games Swimming competition, there will not be  International Paralympic Committee (IPC) international classification available.

Athletes holding National classifications can compete in the Games.

Nottingham 2015 applied to the IPC in February 2014 for International Classifiers to be appointed for the Nottingham 2015 and have now received  notification that they cannot provide classifiers.

A spokesperson for the IPC said:

“Regrettably due to lack of availability of our classifiers IPC Swimming will not be able to send a classification panel to the CPISRA World Games, therefore there will be no classification.”
