Nottingham looks forward to hosting 2015 World Games
Cerebral Palsy (CP) Sport England and Wales are delighted to announce that the 2015 CPISRA World Games will be hosted in Nottingham. CP Sport invite member nations to attend the CPISRA World Games, which will be held in Nottingham from 7-16 August 2015. We plan to stage a world class event for all levels of ability and we are looking forward to welcoming the world.
The CPISRA 2015 World Games will take place in the heart of the historic city of Nottingham, England with the majority of the competition taking place on the new iconic Harvey Haddon Sports complex site, with the support of Nottingham City Council.
The competition programme will include Athletics (including Racerunner and Slalom); Bowls; Football (Under 19); Football Female; Swimming; Table Cricket and other Adapted Sports. A social Programme, trips, evening seminars and educational workshop programmes will also be scheduled throughout the Games. The aim is to create a world-class competitive event in a range of sports which, where possible, will be IPC sanctioned.
The entry fee for the 2015 World Games will be £70 per person per day. This includes: en-suite accommodation, all meals, social events, entry and capitation fees, workshop and educational training, transportation from Games village to training and competition sites.
CP Sport England and Wales invites CPISRA member nations to complete their intention to compete and we would like to know the sports you wish to compete in as well as an estimate of the number of individuals who will be in your delegation.
