The Nottingham 2015 CPISRA World Games will be held at the Harvey Hadden Sports Complex in Nottingham, opening on 9th and closing on 15th August.
The event brings together hundreds of athletes from all over the world, who will be visiting Nottingham for the first time so we want to make sure they have a positive experience while they are here to compete and make sure there is a record of this.
The Games Organising Committee would like to capture this as well as the spirit of the games by commissioning a film maker to be on site, record the action; the highs and lows of the games and make a film as a lasting memory for all involved.
We are looking for a filmmaker to work to develop this project. The film needs to locate the games in Nottingham, introduce the audience to the games and athletes and cover elements including the opening, closing and medal ceremonies.
We require a film maker to:
- Film elements of the games – to be agreed with Games Organising Committee and will include sequences of all the featured sports
- Opening and closing ceremonies
- The medal ceremonies
- The Athletes village
- Editing and creating the film
We envisage the film crew being on site for the whole length of the games in order to gain some good footage. Then use this to create a film that has elements of dialogue with individuals as well as music.
Please send a proposal by Monday 15th June. Your proposal should be no more than two sides of A4, demonstrate what you will achieve and the costs of making the film and have references to other work that you have made.
