Do you love playing football and use a frame?
If you use walking/gait training equipment such as a Frame or Walker, we have developed a game just for Frame users.
Cerebral Palsy Sport have designed, developed and trialled Frame Football with lots of feedback from coaches, equipment specialists, physiotherapists, parents and the players themselves to create a truly player centred football opportunity. Supported by the Football Association’s Disability Committee as a grassroots development programme, Frame Football is already gaining recognition as an inclusive Adapted Sport.
Frame Football Development Group
To help the sport grow Cerebral Palsy Sport have brought together valued partners from across different fields. These partners include:
- Cerebral Palsy Sport
- The Football Association
- DM Orthotics
- The Association of Paediatric Chartered Physiotherapists (APCP)
- The Frame Football Foundation
- Community Football Clubs
- Player representative
This group is working together in an agreed structure to develop the game with a sole purpose of making sure there is opportunity to play.
The group gives a holistic approach to developing the game which means we can support the physiotherapy that players receive, utilise current technology and equipment to benefit the sport and ensure the message of Frame Football gets across the CP community.
“We are delighted to be working in partnership with Cerebral Palsy Sport and all of the members of the Frame Football development group to drive forward the development of a new format of the beautiful game, designed specifically to meet the needs of footballers who use frames.”
