RaceRunning Start Days

RaceRunning Start Days

RaceRunning Start days provide people with cerebral palsy and other physical disabilities the opportunity to experience RaceRunning for the first time. Sessions cover the basics of getting on and off the RaceRunner, including setting up individuals on the frames with the correct seat and chest plate position to ensure the participant is comfortable and set up properly.

During the session we will cover the basic skills of how to move the RaceRunners, basic maneuvering of the RaceRunner and the strides to move.

For the sessions it is advised all participants taking part bring with them a cycling helmet and wear something that’s comfortable to take part in and also trainers. Padded cycling shorts are also advised.

Sessions can be held inside in a hall or outside on a firm surface or ideally an athletics track if it’s available.
