Frame Running Start Days

Frame Running Start Days

Frame Running Start days provide people with cerebral palsy and other physical disabilities the opportunity to experience Frame Running for the first time. Sessions cover the basics of getting on and off the Frame Runner, including setting up individuals on the frames with the correct seat and chest plate position to ensure the participant is comfortable and set up properly.

During the session we will cover the basic skills of how to move the Frame Runners, basic manoeuvring and the strides to move.

For the sessions it is advised all participants taking part bring with them a cycling helmet and wear something that’s comfortable to take part in and also trainers. Padded cycling shorts are also advised.

Sessions can be held inside in a hall or outside on a firm surface or ideally an athletics track if it’s available.

If you would like to host a Frame Running Start day at your club or venue or would like to find out about upcoming ones, please get in touch with Jen Basford on email: or by telephone: 07955119018
