Jeremy has volunteered at Cerebral Palsy Sport since June 2006. He discovered our charity when he was looking for volunteering opportunities through Rushcliffe Community and Voluntary Services.

He gets involved in so many ways. Assisting with fundraising activities, administration and as a trustee, and he also raises funds for us by cycling 100km in London at night every year!

When asked if he’d recommend volunteering for Cerebral Palsy Sport, his answer was definitive! “Absolutely. Without a doubt.”

We also asked Jeremy what his most memorable moment has been whilst volunteering, he replied “There are many but it is wonderful to see the grit, determination and pride of athletes in our various sports as they compete.” This is of course why all our wonderful volunteers get involved; to help support children, young people and adults with cerebral palsy reach their potential through sport.

Jeremy added “Parents and carers tell me that the Cerebral Palsy Sport events are so important to our members and their families – this includes the fun and social interaction away from the competition.”

Thank you Jeremy for all the time you devoted to Cerebral Palsy Sport!
